Points of View is perfect for one or two families with children, since there is no through traffic and wonderful places to explore. I also provide kids' movies, kids' pool toys and games for hours of enjoyment. And kids surely will enjoy the many wild goats, donkeys, hermit crabs, humming birds, pelicans and other wildlife in the neighborhood. Points of View is also a splendid villa for honeymooners or others who want to "get away from it all."

But it's the location that makes Points of View so special. It is within an easy, downhill walk to a private, pebble beach with great snorkeling. Rides of five minutes or less will take you to five other small, often uninhabited, beaches -- one, Haulover is one of the best snorkeling bays on St. John. Rental kayaks are available across the bay at Crabbys. A scenic 10-minute ride through part of the National Park will take you to the small village of Coral Bay, with its shops, restaurants and live music -- and where you can rent boats and other aquatic gear.

The famous National Park beaches are a little further, but you can access all of them via super-scenic drives without going through the downtown area of Cruz Bay. However, if your destination is Cruz Bay you are 30-45 minutes away, depending upon traffic and road conditions. |
